1. Ice On Whyte

With the Extreme Cold Warning in effect issued by Environment Canada, we will be closing the Festival site on Sunday, February 3rd to ensure the safety of our patrons, volunteers, and staff. Not only will you see impressive ice sculptures but, there will be music and an ice bar. Spend your day or evening there, you’re guaranteed to have a good time. Tickets are on sale now!

2. Ice Castles

The Ice Castles are returning to Edmonton! These amazing castles are definitely a sight to see. Bundle up and go enjoy them.

3. Victoria Park Iceway

This is the perfect location to have fun with the family. At Victoria Park Iceway you can skate for hours on their beautifully rainbow lit path.

4. The Giant Gingerbread House at The Hotel MacDonald

You can see the biggest Gingerbread house in Canada. The Hotel MacDonald has a ton of amazing views and things you can enjoy while you’re there! Maybe you’ll get some inspiration for your own gingerbread house.

5. Zoominescence

The Edmonton Valley Zoo transforms into a colourful festival of lights with awesome tunnels and art installations! Plus, the animal exhibits are open.

6. Luminaria at The U of A Botanic Garden

A nice, intimate, candlelit winter stroll.

Dates: It’s only happening this weekend. Get your tickets quick!

7. Glow Edmonton

A magical evening indoors for friends and family surrounded by pretty lights of all sorts. You can also get a beverage and drink it out of a cool lightbulb glass.
