Radio Punjab International has partnered with World FM to provide over 80 hours weekly of quality new, inspirational and entertainment programming. Edmonton’s dynamic South Asian community is ever-expanding, and World FM rises to the challenge, providing our audience with the most complete radio package between Toronto and Vancouver. Broadcasting in multiple language of the Indian subcontinent and Pakistan, Radio Punjab offers interactive talk shows where your views can be heard, plus an exciting menu of the latest Bollywood favourites and mega-hits from the past! It’s a morning show with everything you need to start your day, and late-night musical mixes to wrap up the day right.
Spanish / Latin
Weekdays 11am - 12pm, Saturday 11am - 12pm, 9pm - midnight, Sunday midnight - 6am
Everyone enjoys a Latin beat, and World FM has it all, from mystical merengue to searing salsa, with everything in between. Veteran radio personality Juan Caroca and his team shake off the midday “blahs” with a daily dose of Super Latin Hits – it’s Corazon Latino Monday through Saturday, 11:00 am to noon! And no one makes your Saturday night sizzle like Chris C. and his crew. Don’t miss a single beat of Urbin Latino – whether you’re on the way to the club, or hosting your own house party – the hip are hopping and the cool is never-stopping, from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am. Then immediately following Urbin Latino, it's time for romance South American style, as Latino Latenight takes over, playing the sultry songs that will take you through the night until 6:00am.

Your master musical chef, Leopoldo Sorgiovanni invites you to join him for a lunch buffet to satisfy every taste – tune in Lunch with Leo weekdays noon to 1:00 pm, to catch a balanced diet of Italian musical fare. Seasoned perfectly with Leo’s insights and commentaries, this Lunch will take on even the most insatiable radio appetite. Fridays, it’s time for the crowning touch as Tony Sorgiovanni serves up your Espresso – a non-stop brew of steaming hot hits from today’s Italian charts. And remember, Sunday mornings have always belonged to World FM’s Ciao Italia, with music, news, community updates and sport, sports, sports – don’t drop the ball: enjoy it all with Leo, Sundays from 9:00 am to noon.

World FM has enjoyed a decades-long tradition of connecting with the city’s multifaceted Chinese community. And the tradition continues: Monday through Saturday from 1:00 – 5:00 pm., join our hand-picked crew of on-air hosts for a musical montage of hits from the 80s, 90s, and today. Like a visit with your best friend, tune in our Cantonese and Mandarin hosts to put a smile on your face, bring back warm memories, and create exciting new ones. For the afternoon commuter, we offer Hong Kong and local news, weather reports and traffic updates. It’s as perfect as your favourite blend of afternoon tea.

World FM’s daily Ukrainian program, Radiozhurnal, has not only reported on, and covered, this process of growth and evolution, we’ve been right in the centre of it since day one!
