During a Western Canadian “roadshow” tour National Ukrainian Canadian Congress President Paul Grod visited Edmonton and Calgary to present Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medals to 6 members of the Ukrainian community, and to deliver a “state of the hromada” address. Just prior to his arrival, he spoke by telephone from his office in Toronto with World FM Program Director Roman Brytan. Topics covered include controversial plans for the Canadian Human Rights Museum in Winnipeg to not honour promises made regarding interpretive content, and priorities for the upcoming Trienniel UCC Congress in Toronto in November.
